A Weekend of Warriors: Jonny Brownlee's Historic 10-Triathlon Feat at Blenheim Palace

23 July, 2026

On the weekend of the 6th and 7th June, 2026, the OGT team headed down to the stunning grounds of Oxfordshire for the Supertri at Blenheim Palace. It’s an event that always delivers incredible energy, but this particular weekend will now go down in the history books for our close partner and Olympic legend, Jonny Brownlee.

If you’ve been following our journey, you’ll know how much Jonny means to the OGT community. From a brief trackside chat that turned into a long-term partnership, to the launch of his incredibly popular Chocolate Brownlee bar, Jonny embodies everything we believe in: pushing limits, staying grounded and finding joy in the movement.

But what he took on at Blenheim Palace went above and beyond anything we could have imagined.

Pushing Past the Limit

Jonny didn't just turn up to race the elite wave. Instead, he took on the infamous ‘Weekend Warrior’ challenge. The goal? To see how many full sprint-distance triathlons he could complete back-to-back over a single weekend.

By Sunday evening, Jonny became the first person ever to successfully clock in 10 complete triathlons in a single weekend.

To put that into perspective, here is what a weekend in Jonny’s shoes looked like:

The Swim: 7.5km navigating the chilly waters of Blenheim’s Great Lake.

The Bike: 200km undulating through the palace grounds.

The Run: 50km, well over a full marathon, around the Queen Pool.

The Total Time: 12 hours, 24 minutes, and 25 seconds of pure, relentless effort.

The physical distance was staggering, but the real test was the clock. With driving rain and brutal crosswinds on Saturday, Jonny couldn’t stop to rest after a finish line. He had to instantly reset his transition kit, jog straight back to the pontoon, and plunge back into the water with the next public wave before the strict swim cut-offs closed.

More Than Every Second

For an athlete who has spent his entire life on the global stage where "every second counts" and absolute, insular focus is required to win Olympic medals, this weekend represented a profound shift.

Lining up shoulder-to-shoulder with thousands of amateur athletes, charity fundraisers and first-time triathletes, the weekend became less about the podium and entirely about the community. He traded words of encouragement in the mud, cheered on fellow ‘Warriors’, and crossed his final finish line with his seven-month-old son, Freddie, in his arms.

Fuelled by Community

Seeing Jonny tackle 10 triathlons with a smile on his face reminded us exactly why we do what we do at OGT. Sport is at its best when it strips away the pressure and brings people together to share a collective challenge.

Whether you are aiming for 10 triathlons in a weekend or just finding the energy to head out for a rainy evening run, we’re incredibly proud to make the bars that fuel these moments. Huge congratulations, Jonny, time for a well-deserved rest and maybe a Chocolate Brownlee bar or two.
