When should I eat Protein²?

After the gym, at breakfast or between meals: 15g protein, 193 calories and 12g fibre a bar, about 40% of the 30 grams of fibre adults are advised to eat each day.

Wrapper-free? How does that work?

Our bars are covered in a 100% natural, edible beeswax layer, 0.25mm thin. It works exactly like the skin on an apple — waterproof, non-absorbent, and rinsable.

Won’t they get covered in fluff in my pocket?

No. The layer is completely dry and non-sticky, so lint and pocket fluff won’t cling to it. If it picks up dirt, rinse it under a tap or from your bottle.

How do they taste?

Soft and fudgy: the bar is unbaked, and the natural layer seals the moisture in. Lightly sweetened with brown rice syrup and stevia. The layer itself is tasteless.

What’s actually in them?

Milk protein, chicory root fibre, cocoa, oats, Himalayan pink salt and a natural layer: ingredients you recognise. Contains milk and oats (gluten); not suitable for vegans.

Why 15g of protein?

15g is the amount that keeps the bar soft and fudgy, made from milk protein. It is still a high-protein bar: protein gives almost a third of its calories.
