Beth Leighfield
We met Beth through a collaboration with Wavelength Magazine, who spent a full day in the water with her putting our bars through the ultimate test: could you actually eat one while surfing? Beth tucked one inside her wetsuit, paddled out, and ate it mid-session between waves - no picnic table, no dry hands required. Her verdict: it worked "totally fine!" proof it's built for keeping multi-hour surf days going without ever needing to come in.
A Lifelong Passion for the Sea
Beth grew up on Cornwall's north coast, catching her first wave at Widemouth Bay before she'd turned ten. What started as a way to fill the summer holidays turned into a career: by her late teens she was British Longboard Champion and pulling on a GB vest at the ISA World Longboard Championships in Biarritz. In 2024 she made history at LogJam UK, becoming the first woman to have her name engraved on a trophy that carries the likes of Ben Skinner and James Parry.
Why OGT Rules the Trail
Lizzie thrives on the deep mental and physical grit required for ultra distance gravel events and mountain challenges. When you are out on the trail for eleven hours straight, fuel is everything. As she puts it, "staying fuelled and eating right has been such a big thing for me," and it shows: it's the difference between a session that ends when the tide does, and one that ends only when she's ready to come in.
