Wrapper-free? How does that work?
Our bars are covered in a 100% natural, edible beeswax-based coating. It works exactly how a traditional plastic wrapper would. The coating protects all the ingredients inside, keeping your bar fresh and tasty, but is completely edible.
How is that hygienic?
We’re currently a direct-to-your-door service. Your bars are sent directly to your door in one 100% recyclable box.
Our edible coating is beeswax-based which is naturally waterproof, making them perfect for outdoor adventures. You can give your bars a little rinse under water if you feel it’s needed, but we find our customers are happy to bite straight in! Treat it like you would an apple!
How does the edible coating hold up in different temperatures?
So, the bars should be fine at high 30's in hot weather, they may just be slightly softer and more malleable.
Our edible coating is naturally waterproof, this means if the bars get wet (from rain or sweat!), it won’t get sticky or dissolve.
